We have a hole!

Giant pile of stumps that were dug up. You can also see the markers of the house lay out. We are slowly making progress.

We have final plans

We received the final plans and contract on Friday. I am very happy with the plans and see no need for changes. We plan to sign the contract and return it to the builder next week. The building will start as soon as he feels the weather will cooperate!

First to dig!

We will be the builders first house to dig this Spring! I am hoping for March but it depends on the weather. He said it would take about 5 1/2 months to build.

Meeting with the builder tomorrow!

We are meeting with him to give him a deposit. He will draw up a complete plan and then we will start the process! I am excited to know when he projects that he will start the building. I am hoping we will be able to get in by late summer. :)

Picked up the drawing plans from builder #3

We like about everything in this builders plan. I would change just a couple of things on his plan from first glance at it. I would make the linen closet in kids closet smaller so daughter can have a bigger closet. Also, make screened in porch a little different.

We need to discuss our top $ we will spend before the estimate comes in. We are liking builder #3 and want to work with him.  I am hoping the cost is about what we anticipate
